Tampa offers Gulf Coast access with urban amenities. Bayshore Boulevard runs 4.5 miles along the waterfront, and downtown Tampa is about 3 miles from the Tampa Riverwalk and Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park. Clearwater Beach is about 25 miles west, and Hillsborough River State Park is about 20 miles northeast for paddling, hiking, and day trips.
